Video: High-Speed Oklahoma Vehicle Pursuit Ends in PIT Maneuver, Crash

Officers attempted to stop the vehicle with spikes, but the driver kept going. A short time later, officers hit the vehicle with a PIT maneuver, which caused the vehicle to go airborne and roll several times.

A high-speed chase that began in Oklahoma City Friday morning ended in a PIT maneuver and a violent crash outside of Norman.

The pursuit began about 10:30 a.m. when the driver reportedly refused to stop when an Oklahoma City officer tried to pull her over for a traffic offense.

The chase, which hit speeds in excess of 100 mph, led police through southwest Oklahoma City to Moore and into Norman, News 9 reports.

The driver was pulled from the window since the door was shut, and two other people were pulled from the vehicle.

The driver was later identified as 27-year-old Daydrion Dennis. She was issued traffic citations and taken to a local hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
