An Indiana Veterans Affairs Hospital police officer is being honored after he helped save the life of a military veteran, reports WPTA.

The VA Northern Indiana Healthcare System says Capt. Roger Humphries is being honored for his "selfless heroism" on patrol June 16. He used CPR on an unconscious veteran while directing the response of other emergency personnel at the Marion, IN, campus, reports the Journal Gazette.
