At least 16 officers from more than a dozen northern California agencies competed in the 10th annual Art O'Keefe Memorial Police Canine Competition Saturday in Lodi.

The K-9 teams completed a series of challenges in categories that include searching, obedience, agility, and protection. Sixteen teams competed in the patrol competition, while 18 entered the narcotics phase. Officer Gregg Tawney of the Elk Grove Police Department eventually placed first in the event, reports the Stockton Record.

The Lodi Police Canine Association has posted several videos from the competition on its Facebook page.
