The first seminar begins on Friday, May 8, from 4-7 p.m., with Founder and Director of ARMA Training Dave Young talking about "Handgun Protection: Keeping it Out Of The Wrong Hands." This three-hour presentation is one of three classes Young will be leading. The cost is $50 per session or $99 for all three, with limited seating available.
The seminar schedule for Saturday, May 9, includes a wide variety of choices, including Young's second seminar, "Skill Building: Preparing For A Gunfight," from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.; "What We've Learned About School Shooters," presented by USCCA Chief Instructor Michael Martin, from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.; and "Warrior Mind Body And Spirit," conducted by James Yeager, CEO of Tactical Response Inc., from 12-1 p.m.
The afternoon timeslot, from 1-2 p.m., will feature a selection of presentations by Detective Brandon Moore ("Hero Holsters"); Beth Alcazar, USCCA writer and instructor ("Concealed Carry For Moms: Breaking The Mold"); and George Harris, co-founder of the SIGARMS Academy and president and CEO of International Firearms Consultants ("The Foundation Of Shooting For Personal Defense"), along with a session on Crossbreed Holsters.
Saturday's 2-3 p.m. seminars will include Robert's Defense with "Long Range .45 1911 Shooting," and Detective Brandon Moore with a repeat session of "Hero Holsters." In addition, during this hour, Mike Hughes, founder and CEO of NextLevel Training (the maker of SIRT Training Products), will present "Laser Dry-Fire Training In The Home," and Michael Martin will cover "eLearning For Concealed Carry & Home Defense."
From 3-4 p.m. on Saturday afternoon, Packin' Neat will share some concealed carry options for women. And the evening will conclude with a special Concealed Carry Fashion Show, from 6-8 p.m. The much-anticipated, ticketed event will celebrate the concealed-carry lifestyle for both men and women and will include special guests Tim Schmidt, founder of USCCA; Mark Walters, host of Armed American Radio; and the outspoken, pro-gun Sheriff David Clarke, Jr.
