Black Hills Ammunition
9mm HoneyBadger
Black Hills HoneyBadger Ammunition is made with solid copper bullets. It features non-deforming, non-fragmenting projectiles with wide, sharp flutes. The company says HoneyBadger rounds reliably penetrate to uniform depths. The Black Hills 100-grain 9mm HoneyBadger load utilizes newly developed projectiles at a velocity of 1300 fps. The result, according to Black Hills, is a fast, accurate, light recoiling load that significantly outperforms conventional hollow points on barriers and on ballistic gelatin. Black Hills says the 9 mm produces a wound track of over 3 inches in diameter and over 15 inches long. Website

Uni-Tuk IWB Holster
The Uni-Tuk is the latest in DeSantis’ Pegasus Kydex line. The IWB holster features a precision-molded Kydex front married to a back component, which is an all synthetic and a “breathable” platform. The built-in Spur™ which acts as a “claw”, is an integral part of the holster body, enhancing concealment. FN America
509 MRD-LE Pistol
FN America’s FN 509 MRD-LE has been chosen by the Los Angeles Police Department as the agency’s new duty pistol. Adapted from FN’s original development for the U.S. Army’s handgun trials, the FN 509 MRD-LE is a 9mm pistol, featuring the company’s patented FN Low-Profile Optics-Mounting System. The FN Low-Profile Optics-Mounting System with co-witness tritium 3-dot iron sights, delivers rapid sight acquisition, the company says. Accuracy-enhancing features of the FN 509 MRD-LE include a high-performance, conical striker and a flat-faced, duty-rated trigger. The trigger has a positive wall at 90 degrees before a clean break, so that officers can maintain their sights on target through the full trigger pull. Website

Glock
Optic Ready Slimline Pistols
The Slimline Glock 43X and Glock 48 are now available in the Modular Optic System (MOS) configuration. These slim 9mm pistols feature a micro-optic-ready factory-milled slide and a slim rail. The G43X and G48 feature a compact, Slimline frame with a 10-round magazine capacity. The optic-ready Slimline models are now available with an MOS cutout and slim Glock mounting rail system. With a non-standard MOS footprint, the Slimline MOS models require specific mico-reflex optics such as the Shield Sights’ RMSc. A non-standard accessory rail allows for a light to be attached with close alignment to the firearm’s bore with positioning in front of the trigger guard, which allows the operator to maintain a two-handed grip. Both MOS models incorporate Gen5 Technologies such as the nDLC finish for extreme durability, a reversible magazine catch, and the match-grade, Glock Marksman Barrel (GMB) for increased accuracy. Gould & Goodrich
T.E.L.R. Holster
The Thumb Activated Ejection Port Lock Retention (T.E.L.R.) light-bearing duty holster from Gould & Goodrich is available with Level 1 or Level 3 retention. Drawing from the Level 3 T.E.L.R. is demonstrated in a video on the Gould & Goodrich website. The hood is rolled down off of the pistol with the thumb. Once the hood is rolled down, the shooter’s natural grip should place their thumb on the thumb release, which releases the ejection port lock, and facilitates a smooth draw. When you replace the pistol in the T.E.L.R. holster, you should hear an audible click as the ejection port locking engages. Fits available for Glock 19, 17, 45, 20, 21; and SIG Sauer compact/carry, full size, and X5 Models with Streamlight’s TLR 1, SureFire’s X300, and similar lights. Website
