POLICE and Geotab are presenting a free webinar that will offer law enforcement agencies insight into how data analysis can help them maintain vehicle readiness and optimize fleet maintenance.
Titled “A Data-Driven Approach to Police Fleet Maintenance,” the webinar will be held June 19 at 11 a.m. Pacific (2 p.m. Eastern).
Topics covered include:
- How to deploy proactive maintenance for enhanced uptime: Discover how real-time vehicle health data and diagnostics can improve situational awareness regarding potential maintenance needs, enabling proactive interventions and minimizing unexpected downtime. Make sure your fleet is always agile and available for deployment.
- How to optimize maintenance schedules based on real-world usage: Learn how telematics data, including mileage, engine hours and even operational parameters allows for smarter maintenance scheduling. Hear best practices on optimizing patrol areas and keeping the right vehicles available at the right times, reducing unnecessary wear and tear.
- How to equalize vehicle usage and drive down total cost of ownership (TCO): Explore how utilization data can help you find where over- or under-usage may be occurring in certain police vehicles and what you can do to solve it.
The webinar will be presented by Robert Martinez, former deputy commissioner of the NYPD/RSM Fleet Consulting LLC; Nathalie (Nat) Crewes, business segment manager for Geotab; and Alanna Bindi, fleet manager for the City of Stockton.
