FoxFury Lighting Solutions has announced its new lineup of portable forensic blue laser systems. Three different models are available (2W, 5W and 9W) for use with forensic evidence search and photography in the lab and field. These laser systems are designed to be cord-free, silent, and waterproof, and they come with a carrying case as well as laser goggles.

Forensic laser systems are powerful lighting tools to help visualize forensic evidence. Forensic lasers have traditionally been large, heavy, and corded tools that were impractical to use outside of the lab. They also have carried a large price tag.

Distributed by FoxFury, the NOAH PL Portable Blue Forensic Laser Systems, by comparison, are designed to be lightweight, cord-free, powerful, and affordable. All three laser systems emit 445 nm blue light, which enables evidence to be seen more easily and at greater distances than non-laser forensic light sources.

These PL laser systems can be used to search for as well as photograph blood, bite marks, bruising, bones, teeth, latent prints, gunshot residue, and serological evidence including semen, saliva, and urine, according to the company.

PL Blue laser systems are rechargeable, tripod mountable, and suitable for lab and field use; they are impact resistant, waterproof, and can be decontaminated, according to the company. All systems come with a carrying case, charger, and either orange or orange and yellow laser goggles.

"The PL is an amazing photographic lighting tool that travels easily and enables detailed photography and viewing of forensic evidence," said Mario Cugini, CEO of FoxFury.

These laser systems are patent pending and designed and manufactured by NOAH LLC and distributed by FoxFury Lighting Solutions. Training is also available with purchase of select models.
