Man Accused of Causing 2 Standoffs Arrested by Portland Officers
There were no injuries during the course of the arrest of the suspect, who is currently being transported to jail. However, officers did make use of OC and CS gas and a police robot during the operation.

The suspect crashed a vehicle belonging to his father’s business into another car at about 5 p.m. Sunday, police said. When officers responded to the crash, they said they saw him reach for a .22 caliber handgun.

San Antonio Police Release Video from Shooting That Wounded 7 Officers
Responding officers arrived around 8:30 p.m. and immediately came under fire outside of the subject’s apartment building. One officer was hit and transported to the hospital by a fellow officer.

Maine State Police K-9, Suspect Killed at End of Standoff
The suspecallegedly fired his weapon at K-9 Preacher and struck the dog in the abdomen. Preacher, a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois, was rushed to an emergency veterinary clinic, where he was stabilized, but he died of his injuries Tuesday.

Seven San Antonio Officers Shot During Standoff, Suspect Dead
The suspect, identified as 46-year-old Brandon Scott Poulos, "then exited the apartment and opened fire on the responding officers, striking one officer in the leg," according to the SAPD.
