Video: South Carolina Deputy Shoots Resident During Home Invasion Call
After receiving a desperate 911 call, Charleston County (S.C.) Sheriff's deputies were dispatched Thursday morning to a home in Hollywood, South Carolina, with a report of shots fired and a home invasion. During the call, one of the deputies shot and seriously wounded the resident who was holding a pistol.

Sister of Officer who Collapsed and Died Last Week at Traffic Stop Killed in Auto Accident
She was the sister of Robert Blajszczak, 40, who collapsed Oct. 20 during a traffic stop and died Sunday. He was a seven-year veteran of the department and worked with Summerville's Traffic Division.
