Man Shot Vegas Officer with Another Officer's Holstered Pistol
The suspect was non-compliant with police and it was a struggle to get his handcuffs on, police said. When officers attempted to adjust the handcuffs while holding him up against an elevator wall, the suspect was able to reach down with his left hand, while cuffed, and grab the trigger of an officer's Glock 21 handgun.

After reviewing more than 700 twitter posts by Officer George Forbush following his administrative leave, the City decided to suspend Forbush for four days without pay on Dec. 4, according to the lawsuit. The suspension term was chosen by the city as one day for each of four posts they found worthy of discipline.

Retired Connecticut Trooper Killed by Punch in Las Vegas
Thomas Driscoll, 57, of Chicopee, Mass., was walking on a pedestrian bridge between the Cromwell Hotel & Casino and Bally's around 4:30 a.m. when he and a woman companion walked past a group of men. One of the men made a comment about the two, then ran toward the pair and down a set of stairs as they rode an escalator down from the bridge.
