Online Tool Helps Indiana Agency Solve Residential Burglaries
LeadsOnline, a nationwide online system that records secondhand transactions, kept a record of the reported stolen items and alerted the police when several of the items turned up at a secondhand store. The information led police to one of the individuals involved in the theft ring.

Multi-Agency Search Underway for Tennessee Post Office Killers
Two women were gunned down in the rural west Tennessee town during what is believed to be a robbery attempt. Police said they were searching for a vehicle Monday afternoon. Also, a $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the killers.

Police ruled that the former McNair was shot dead in his sleep by his 20-year-old girlfriend, Sahel Kazemi, who then turned the gun on herself. The former officer contacted Kazemi's sisters and told them he didn't believe Sahel was the shooter.

Shahzad used the phone to call the Connecticut woman who sold him the vehicle using Craigslist. The phone had received four calls from Pakistan. One of the numbers led authorities to Shahzad.

Times Square SUV With Bomb Materials Sold In Cash Deal
Authorities interviewed the owner of the vehicle, who said the1993 Nissan Pathfinder was sold on Craigslist during a transaction that occurred in a Connecticut shopping mall. The seller couldn't remember the name of the purchaser, and told authorities he was either Middle Eastern or Hispanic.
