After he was arrested at the scene, the suspect in last night’s deadly Aurora, Colo., movie theater shooting reportedly made a statement to police about explosives being in his apartment. Police are now searching his residence with robots and have evacuated the building and five around it.

The suspected lone shooter of the Batman movie theater massacre in Aurora, Colo., earlier today has been identified as Ph.D. student James Holmes. Based on the suspect’s background the shooting does not appear to be linked to radical terrorism or Islamic terrorism.
