A Pueblo County (Colo.) Sheriff's captain and retired deputy were killed Saturday when their Piper plane went down while they searched for marijuana grows in the Wet Mountains.
Kind, professional, dedicated, and good-humored were words friends and colleagues used to describe Capt. Leide DeFusco and retired Deputy John Barger, reports the Pueblo Chieftain.
DeFusco, 43, is a 22-year law enforcement veteran who is survived by his wife and four children.
