A man wearing hunting gear and armed with a long gun was barricaded inside a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs Friday after repeatedly opening fire on police, wounding four officers and an unknown number of civilians, police said.

Video: Suspect Killed in Shootout with Denver SWAT
Officers were called to the 300 block of South Alcott Street at 5:30 pm. When they arrived, they learned shots had been fired at the home after a family disturbance. The suspect, who also had a felony robbery warrant out for his arrest, had injured himself during the disturbance.

Colorado Trooper Hit and Killed on Highway Near Denver
The Colorado State Patrol says a trooper was outside her patrol car investigating a wreck on I-25 near Castle Rock Sunday at 8:50 p.m. when she was hit. She died from her injuries on the scene of the crash.
