Albuquerque Officer Dies of "Medical Event" in Training

Police officials say officers were gathered for a role-play training when one of them suffered a catastrophic medical event. Officers began performing CPR, police say, and a medical director from the Albuquerque Fire Department also guided additional emergency procedures. The officer was transported to UNMH and police say he succumbed to the medical episode.

Guam SWAT Officer Dies from Heart Attack

He was leading a run of other SWAT team members when he suddenly collapsed at approximately 9:00 am. Another officer performed CPR until medics arrived at the location. He transported to Naval Hospital Guam where he remained unresponsive before passing away three days later.
