Extech Data Systems has added extra capability to its Andes 3 enhanced Generation 4 portable printer. Designed for harsh outdoor environments, the IP54-certified three-inch is able to withstand adverse weather conditions and drops to concrete. Now with Form Fiesta, users can create forms such as boarding passes and parking tickets. The Andes 3 unit features a highly integrated 32 Bit Microcontroller and incorporates 4 MB Flash and 1 MB SRAM memory. The user can choose to employ the power adapter option or the new extra capacity Lithium Ion battery cartridge. A new Windows Driver and enhanced linear bar code capability are also available.
