Garrett’s SuperScanner hand-held metal detector is proven to accurately detect concealed metallic items. The SuperScanner detects a medium sized pistol from nine inches; large knife from six inches; razor blade and box cutter from three inches; and foil-wrapped drugs and tiny jewelry from one inch. A large 10-inch scan surface makes for quick, thorough scanning. And with one-switch operation, it’s easy to use. A sharp audible alarm and bright red LED light indicate the detection of metal. A momentary push button temporarily eliminates detection of nearby ambient metal such as rebar or metal walls.
