Troopers Find Deceased Man in Parking Lot at MSP Post

Michigan State Police found a man dead in the parking lot of its post in Lansing after receiving a call from the man saying he intended to harm himself.

Michigan State Police found a 63-year-old man dead in the parking lot of one of its highway patrol posts after receiving a call that the man intended to hurt himself.

Tuesday, around 6:30 a.m., MSP Operations was contacted by phone, and the man said he was in the parking lot of the Lansing post and intended to harm himself.

A social media post by MSP said Troopers went to the parking lot and found the man deceased next to his vehicle. MSP said the investigation into the death is ongoing.
