Two California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers were injured on Wednesday March 13, 2024, when a drive intentionally rammed their patrol vehicle while it was parked on Interstate 80 in Davis, police say.

The incident occurred around 3:3O p.m.

Both officers were wearing their seatbelts.

They were both treated at a local hospital for what CHP described as “minor to major injuries.”

The driver was arrested.
