A Pennsylvania State Trooper discovered what may be a record marijuana bust in that state, when he pulled over a tractor-trailer that blew through a commercial vehicle checkpoint, The Morning Call reports.
The trooper discovered the drugs, after an 18-wheeler avoided a weigh station in Dauphin County. All commercial vehicles are required to stop at the checkpoints when they are in operation.
A pursuit followed that led the trooper to discover marijuana estimated to fetch $10 million to $25 million on the street.
