Officer Kim Munley, one of two civilian officers who helped end the Fort Hood shooting spree, says she is unlikely to return to patrol duties.
Munley made the announcement to a North Carolina television station and posted it to her Twitter page. In a Nov. 30 tweet, Munley wrote that a knee replacement surgery would be needed. She would need to carry a 15- to 25-pound pack that would cause it to wear out sooner.
