NYPD Cop's Family Upset by 9/11 Death Investigation

New York city officials removed an NYPD officer's body from a funeral home earlier this week, delaying the memorial service and angering the family, so the medical examiner could determine whether his death was a result of toxins from 9/11, reports the New York Daily News.

"When there is a death that the death certificate says is not of natural causes, the medical examiner is required by law to go and to perform whatever they think is appropriate," Bloomberg told the newspaper.
