Moose Shakes Off TASER Attempt In Alaska

Biologists with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game deployed a special TASER designed for wildlife on the animal on Feb. 4, yet they were unable to stop the hulking animal. Both probes from the electronic control device failed to stick in the moose because of its thick winter coat.

A cow moose roaming in east Fairbanks thwarted attempts by Alask fish and game officers to bring it into compliance using a TASER device, reports the Fairbanks Daily-Miner.
