2 Fla. Cops Injured by Man Firing AK-47s

Two St. Cloud (Fla.) Police officers were injured when an 18-year-old man, who had been firing rounds at the home of a neighbor, turned a pair of AK-47 rifles at their cruiser.

Just before 2 a.m. today, neighbors reported hearing shots that investigators believe came from David Alyn Penney, who eventually fired more than 100 rounds at a neighbor's home and at the officers' cruiser, reports the Palm Beach Post .

Officers Spencer Endsley and Clinton Wise were struck as they drove up to the scene. Penney then turned one of the guns on himself. He is expected to survive.
