Though a former Bay City (Mich.) Police officer has filed a lawsuit claiming sexism led to her termination, attorneys representing Bay City are claiming she was fired in part for dereliction of duty, reports the Bay City News.
An attorney representing Bay City, filed a motion Jan. 4 that states the Bay City Police Department dismissed Blood "as a result of progressive disciplinary action which was taken based on multiple instances of misconduct over an eight month period."
