New Video Footage Brings Scrutiny To Bronx Arrest
A new snippet of video of a rough arrest in the Bronx in late January by New York City police officers has brought further scrutiny on the officers involved.

A new snippet of video of a rough arrest in the Bronx in late January by New York City police officers has brought further scrutiny on the officers involved.
The video, which was obtained by NY1, shows snippets of the moments leading up to the arrest of Jateik Reed, 19, on Jan. 26.
In the days following the arrest, an onlooker posted a cellphone video showing four officers from the 42nd Precinct using batons on Reed. In their report, the officers said they saw Reed drop two bags of what appeared to be narcotics.
The new video shows Reed walking on East 168th Street in University Heights prior to the arrest. His hands appear to be empty.
The Bronx district attorney has dropped the charges against Reed, and the teen's attorney, Michael Warren, wants the district attorney to charge the officers with assault and filing a false report.
