A suspect died early Wednesday in Macon, Ga., when he ignored an officer's warning not to jump a fence and fell about 60 feet into a ravine.

The man fell into the deep ravine at about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday following a foot pursuit. Macon (Ga.) Police officers initially contacted the man after receiving a report of two suspicious men in a vehicle behind a Dick's Sporting Goods store, reports the Telegraph.

Both men attempted to flee officers, who used pepper spray on the first subject. During a foot pursuit, as the second man approached the fence, an officer yelled, "Don't jump here, man."
