Jackie Perry doesn’t want her husband, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper, to be the latest casualty of the anti-cop sentiment sweeping the country.
“My father passed when I was four and so I’ve gone my entire life without a father and I will not let that happen to my children," she said.
Perry, who lives in the Orlando area, has produced and posted an emotional video that has gone viral.
As of Friday, the site had already received 4.2 million hits, News 6 Orlando reports.
She said she did it to remind people that cops have families and loved ones, too.
