A crash in Potter County, SD, involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle killed the motorcyclist, an off-duty Gettysburg, SD, police officer.

According to the Gettysburg Police Department, Luke Kleinlein, 23, was killed in a crash at 10 p.m. on Sunday when his 1983 Honda VF1100C motorcycle collided with a 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup.

The Highway Patrol says the pickup was making a turn on U.S. Highway 212 about 6 miles east of Gettysburg when it collided with the motorcycle about 10 p.m. Sunday, KDLT TV reports.
