VIDEO: Ohio Officer Seriously Injured when Patrol Car Intentionally Rammed by Suspect's Truck

A Cuyahoga Falls, OH, police officer was seriously injured early Saturday morning when his vehicle was apparently intentionally rammed by a pickup truck.

The officer identified as Patrolman Ted Davis was on patrol Saturday morning at 1:18 a.m. when a man ran his vehicle into several parked cruisers in the police department’s parking lot.

Police said the driver caused significant damage to three police vehicles in the lot. They pursued the vehicle when the driver fled the scene. They said the driver purposely crossed into Davis’ lane and struck his patrol vehicle head-on. Davis was taken to the hospital. He suffered serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.

The driver was also taken to the hospital for injuries. Those injuries are also not life threatening, Cleveland 19 reports.
