An 8-year-old boy was on life support Tuesday after a crash that involved a stolen car and a police chase, a Fulton County, GA, police spokeswoman said.
The stolen car ran into another vehicle with five people inside at the intersection of Boat Rock Road and Fulton Industrial Boulevard on Monday, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The boy was taken to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston, Fulton police Cpl. Partrena Smith said. Two other children and two adults were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
East Point police Capt. Cliff Chandler said the incident happened when a 21-year-old woman allegedly stole a car at a gas station in Atlanta about 1 p.m. Monday. East Point Police spotted the vehicle and followed closely. When the driver realized she was being followed, she sped away and collided with the other vehicle.
