As part of the Law Enforcement Education Program (LEEP), use-of-force training simulator company VirTra and Travis Haley Strategic Partners are teaming up for "Peak Performance Training," taught by Travis Haley. The class is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 23 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. during the 2018 Shooting Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show
This LEEP session discusses how officers can achieve their full potential by borrowing techniques used by elite athletes, including setting goals and tracking performance. Training focuses on how the mind and body must work together and how new techniques can help students achieve mind and body coordination.
The LEEP class is an outgrowth of a joint training program developed by VirTra and Haley Strategic Partners called "D7 Powered by Virtra," which offers individualized strategic firearms training for use of force, high stress, and tactical engagements.
