Kansas Officer Honored with State VFW Annual Award

An officer with the Riley County (KS) Police Department has been recognized as the Veterans of Foreign Wars State of Kansas Officer of the Year.

An officer with the Riley County (KS) Police Department has been recognized as the Veterans of Foreign Wars State of Kansas Officer of the Year.

According to WIBD-TV, Officer Michael Wagenblast was presented the award in late February.

Wagenblast served in the United States Army for more than two decades before joining the Riley County Police Department in 2012.
