An officer with the Hickory (NC) Police Department who was struck by a car during a vehicle pursuit of an armed robbery suspect was reportedly uninjured during the incident.

An officer with the Hickory (NC) Police Department who was struck by a car during a vehicle pursuit of an armed robbery suspect was reportedly uninjured during the incident.

According to the Hickory Record, the officer—whose name has not been released—was part of a team searching for a man who had reportedly robbed a discount retail store on Friday morning.

Other officers continued the pursuit and apprehended one suspect. Another reportedly remains at large.
