An officer with the Tinley Park (IL) Police Department arrested a police imposter after he saw what legitimately looked like a police patrol vehicle but for one little detail—the license plates were wrong.
According to the Herald-News, Tinley Park Police Chief Matt Walsh said that the officer noticed the car had improper plates and ran them in the system, discovering that the car was registered to 23-year-old Julian Morris, who is not a police officer.
The officer saw Morris park his car at a store and followed him inside, where he stuck up a conversation during which Morris admitted that he was not a police officer.
