The International Law Enforcement Training (ILET) Summit will welcome participants from around the world to the 3rd Annual 2022 ILET Summit, held from Dec. 5 to 9. The five-day fully virtual summit will provide more than 40 hours of training resources dispersed over 30 plus training sessions for law enforcement, security, legal, and public safety professionals worldwide.

The focus is on prioritizing the well-being and safety of officers.

Created through the collaboration of hundreds of the world’s leading experts in public safety, the ILET Summit leads with an evidence-based approach, promoting interleaved and connected learning and cooperative strategies.

“Not only do we want to provide actionable and relevant training to officers, but we also wanted to find a way to give back, so we continued our commitment to donate 100% of the profits of our ‘I Got Your Six’ Campaign to organizations that support the law enforcement and first responder community. This year, we are teaming up with Blue H.E.L.P., to spread awareness and end the stigmatism surrounding officer mental health,” says Adam Kinakin, director of the ILET Summit and founder of the ILET Network. “That’s something we are very proud of.”

Live roundtable discussions will be hosted each day of the event.

Mental Wellness

One of those sessions is dedicated to mental health and wellness and includes multiple experts from nationally recognized non-profit organizations. One of those panelists, Steven Hough, is the co-founder of Blue H.E.L.P.

“Blue H.E.L.P. provides families, friends, co-workers, and agencies the ability to find assistance when dealing with suicides within the first responder community,” Hough explains.

“When they come to Blue H.E.L.P., they know we will honor those lost by how they lived and not by how they died and provide the necessary information and tools to help deal with such a tragic loss,” he adds.

The line-up of speakers for the 2022 ILET Summit includes experts from the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, Australia, United Kingdom, and a number of notable law enforcement training organizations.

More than 100 countries will be represented during the multiday event with sessions being delivered in a number of formats such as live panel discussions, pre-recorded lecture series, and keynote presentations.
