Texas Sheriff: Illegal Immigrants "Destroyed" Valued Search Dogs
The Aransas County (TX) Sheriff's Office said in a Facebook post that two tracking dogs that have in the past been instrumental in locating individuals with dementia and Alzheimer’s that wandered away from their homes were strangled by individuals believed to be in this country illegally.

South Carolina Man Shot at Officers While Fleeing Robbery Scene on Lawnmower
Two officers with the Cilo (SC) Police Department and a deputy with the Marlboro County Sheriff's Office were investigating the break in when they encountered a person riding a lawnmower who fired shots at the investigators. The two police officers then returned fire, hitting the person on the lawnmower.

Video: Woman Carrying Baby Crashes During Pursuit, Attempts Carjacking
A woman who allegedly led police in Texas on a high-speed pursuit crashed into another vehicle and—carrying a baby in a car safety seat—allegedly attempted to carjack another vehicle. Video of the entire incident was captured by a pursuing police helicopter.
