Josh Cellars Wine and The Gary Sinise Foundation announced earlier this week that from now until Sept. 17 anyone from a local community can go online and nominate a deserving first responder to receive a $10,000 grant for his or her organization. Five local responder groups from across the United States will each receive a grant from Josh Cellars, which can be used towards important life-saving needs such as training, support services, and essential upgrades to equipment.

According to a survey conducted in 2013 on behalf of Josh Cellars, 94% of people believe first responders deserve more recognition and support for the work they do. Those served by first responders will now have the chance to show their support and appreciation by visiting Josh Cellars Facebook page to nominate their hero.
