A cameraman was on scene of an investigation following two officers being fired upon in their patrol vehicle on Monday morning.
According to PIX-TV , videographer Vincent Shields said it looked like a typical crime scene until shots rang out, sending investigating officers in search of cover.
"It was really chaotic," Shields said.
In the ensuing gunfight, the assailant—whose name has not yet been released—was struck and taken into custody.
