Chief Delvon Campbell’s 9-year-old daughter Kynadee has faced medical issues her whole life. She's had respiratory and pulmonary complications, as well as cerebral palsy and epilepsy.

Decatur, Texas, Police Chief Delvon Campbell's daughter Kynadee suffers dangerous seizures. She needs a specially trained seizure response dog, and the town is raising money to buy it.

Chief Delvon Campbell’s daughter Kynadee was born at just 28 weeks and only 1.4 pounds, Kynadee, now 9, has faced medical issues her whole life. She's had respiratory and pulmonary complications, as well as cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
This past Labor Day Weekend alone, she had 25 seizures and ended up in the hospital for weeks.
Kynadee stops breathing during the seizures and they are extremely dangerous. "There’s been several times we’ve almost lost her," Kynadee's mom, Asley told WFAA .
Kynadee’s doctor says she needs a seizure response dog, which can cost $30,000 to $60,000.
When the people of Decatur got word the chief’s daughter needed the specially trained dog, they started fundraising. They have now raised about $44,000 of the $50,000 goal.
