Two of the six candidates to head up the New Orleans Police Department have ties to the department, while the remaining four are chiefs running departments in St. Paul, Minn., Norfolk, Va., and other areas, the Times-Picayune reports.
Mayor-elect Mitch Landrieu is now interviewing the six finalists.
