This grant supports the furthering of education of law enforcement officers to honor the late Chief Daryl Gates of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Gates dedicated his career to education for both law enforcement and the public community. He is best known as an originator of the D.A.R.E. program. In addition, Gates was also a senior advisor and mentor to PropertyRoom.com since their start in 1999.
