A year after rejecting a similar proposal, the San Francisco Police Commission approved a proposal from the new chief to consider using TASERs or another less-lethal weapon.

After six grueling hours of presentations, Chief Jeff Godown agreed to bring a proposal back to the commission within 90 days, reports the Bay Citizen.
