The 27-year-old former child star had threatened to sue the NYPD via Twitter follower her arrest. Bynes accused officers of illegally entering her 36th-floor Manhattan apartment, lying about marijuana possession and her throwing a bong out the window, and slapping her vagina.
Bynes also announced plans to sue the psychiatric facility where she was taken following her arrest, reports the
Star-Ledger
.
This isn't Bynes first brush with law enforcement. In April of 2012, she was
arrested for drunk driving
after she struck a Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy's marked unit in West Hollywood. A few months later, she tweeted President Obama, asking him to
fire the deputy
who arrested her.
