N.J. Cops Offer Reward for Off-duty Officer's Shooter

New Jersey authorities offered a $25,000 reward for the suspect who fatally shot a Newark PD police officer outside a strip club early Monday.

Det. Michael Morgan was fatally shot  while walking a dancer to her vehicle at 3 a.m. outside the Sunrise Lounge Club in Paterson. The two were confronted by an armed robber.

Officials say Morgan, 32, was shot once in the torso after he reached for his weapon, which was found under his body, reports the Associated Press .
