Manuel Pardo, a one-time officer with the Sweetwater Police Department, died at 7:47 p.m. Tuesday, reports the Miami Herald .
At a 1988 trial, Pardo admitted to killing mostly drug dealers, saying he was eliminating the "scum of the earth." He also killed two women who crossed him and a third woman who was with one of his victims.
