The Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation voted 13-0 last week to strip the Broward County Sheriff's Office of its accreditation following a review of the agency's response to two different mass shootings.
According to Fox News , the panel cited the handling of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland in 2018 that killed 17 people and the 2017 Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport shooting.
