The Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation voted 13-0 last week to strip the Broward County Sheriff's Office of its accreditation following a review of the agency's response to two different mass shootings.
According to Fox News, the panel cited the handling of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland in 2018 that killed 17 people and the 2017 Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport shooting.
