I offer this article as a description of how a free people are being tempted to surrender their freedom, history, prosperity, honor, and future to a bizarre utopian dream of the left.

In May 2020, a man with a history of drug, theft, and robbery arrests entered a Minneapolis store and tried to use a counterfeit $20 bill. Several officers responded and arrested that man, George Floyd, who resisted arrest and therefore was subdued by officers using the Minneapolis Police Department’s then approved technique. He subsequently died. This mundane and relatively common event in a nation drenched in drugs, lax prosecutions, and activist courts running amok, became the trigger event leading to a multitude of riots, years of social conflict, multiple Leftist movements, and a constant assault on Western Civilization.

Racial hucksters, Leftist politicians, and propagandist media descended on the city once known for how nice everyone was. “Minnesota Nice” became “Minnesota Woke” and a Soviet-style series of show trials convicted the officers involved of felonies and federal crimes.

A witch hunt for “Warrior Trainers” and all those in law enforcement who held any doubt about the intrinsic racism of America, the bias of American law enforcement, the evils of capitalism, and the culpability of “Colonizers” followed. Black Lives Matter became a sacred cow of the media, big business, the military, and the Left. In spite of the fact that BLM was an avowed Marxist organization, appeared to be a grift of the many by a few, and apparently helped no one but their principals, Americans were required to support the organization.

But what if the hagiography of Saint George Floyd was exposed as a myth?

A new documentary by the wife of a Minneapolis Police lieutenant has laid bare the lies and Kangaroo nature of the trial of the officers that arrested the dying felon who would become the lever used to topple our way of life. Her film, “The Fall of Minneapolis,” has been ignored by the American media but comes as Derek Chauvin is in the news for having his appeal rejected by the U.S. Supreme Court. It exposes the bizarre nature of the trial that simply became a show that ignited the Left to engage in a summer of violence, and provoked widespread self-flagellation by the people of United States.

I became aware of the sinister nature of all this as events unfolded when folks of the abandoned Third Precinct contacted my wife (the Sarge) and me. Snipers, rioters, arsonists, and looters were in full swing as the leadership of Minneapolis and Minnesota, from the Police Department to the Mayor’s Office to the Governor’s Office, sat idly by while valiant officers fought for their lives and felt betrayed and abandoned—which, in fact, they were.

America is unaware of the heroes of Minneapolis who literally battled a level of anarchy and chaos that only a movie like “The Purge” could capture. Instead of feeling pride for their officers, leadership failed them completely. Actually, leadership everywhere failed America completely. The lunacy of pronouns, of bathrooms for how you feel today, of no standards for college enrollment, of a “woke” military, of speech codes, of rewriting history in such a manner as to make Orwell’s Big Brother Proud, of … well you name it, they were all kicked off by the image of Derek Chauvin with his hand in his pocket kneeling on Saint George’s neck.

But what if it was all a fraud? What if George Floyd died of swallowing drugs he was holding as he was being arrested? What if the actual autopsy showed he was a very sick man who died of an overdose and heart disease? What if Officer Chauvin and the others were doing what they were trained to do, and his knee was actually on the scapula and not the neck of the resisting felon? What if?

Well, on cue, just when all the new information was revealed in the documentary and the appeals were made by the officers, an inmate at the Tucson Prison where Chauvin is being held attacked him with a shank and stabbed him 22 times. The perp, a former snitch for the FBI, said he did it on Black Friday to honor BLM and in homage to the Mexican Cartel. Chauvin survived the attack, but will America survive the movement that imprisoned him?

I offer this article as a description of how a free people are being tempted to surrender their freedom, history, prosperity, honor, and future to a bizarre Utopian dream of the Left. I appeal to each and every one of you to resist this temptation at all costs. Refund the police, restore our American Pride, our history, our standards, our traditions, and our rights. American Law Enforcement leaders must lead the way, and certainly some are, but all of us need to refuse the lies, demand true justice and the Rule of Law, and remember the purpose and meaning of the Constitution. Finally, demand justice for the officers who were sacrificed by their leadership on the altar of Leftist dreams.
