Louisville Metro’s Interim Chief Promoted to Chief

Louisville interim Police Chief Paul Humphrey, a two-decade veteran of the department, was named full-time chief on Monday, the Associated Press reports.

Before the permanent assignment this week, Humphrey was the city's fourth interim chief since 2020.
