The Connecticut Police Chiefs Association says it is filling in a missing piece of education for drivers in the state: what to expect when a police officer pulls you over.
Last week, the group announced the launch of its initiative called “Breaking Barriers,” aimed at improving communication and understanding between drivers and police officers, WTNH reports.
The group produced two videos that will be given to driving schools around the state to be used in their curriculum. One video shows drivers what to expect during a traffic stop. The group calls the second video a frank and open discussion between drivers and police officers.
